About Us

We are a D1 Elite collegiate women’s club team. As a member of the Division 1 NCR High Peaks Women’s Collegiate Rugby Conference, the team plays other highly competitive teams including the University of Colorado, U.S. Air Force Academy, University of Wyoming, University of New Mexico, Utah State University, Utah Valley University, University of New Mexico State, Denver University, University of Colorado Mesa and other Colorado teams. The CSU Women’s Rugby team works to establish themselves as a dominate presence in the western territory, and have done so by winning D1 regionals and placing in the final four at nationals. The team is a tight knit group of women that look forward to serious competition and great fun while enjoying this sport!

CSU Women’s Rugby is a competitive and inclusive club that competes in both the fall and spring season. Participation is open to all skill levels and years in college. We are a no cut program. Our fall season is 15 vs. 15, and typically 7 games in September and October. Our spring season is played tournament style and is 7 vs. 7 players with approximately 7 tournaments. Spring 2024 CSU Women’s Rugby placed 2nd in the CRAA National Championship Tournament in Houston, Texas
